after handing my resignation ive been thinking of ways to go on with life.

1. find a high paying job (this will take months or so) then buy a new cam and study photography again, pro this time.

2. bum around for a few months (til nothing’s left on my bank account. this will not last until next year)

3. have a part time job as a call center while i wait for that high paying job or til i get a brand new cam and study photography

4. study abroad (who am i kidding?) -> unless somebody can suggest ways so a third-world country girl can live her green pasture dreams; this includes scholarship/ part-jobs/ place to live etc.

So any suggestions?

I cant bring myself to write what happened in our event yesterday.

It wasn’t bad and it didn’t suck… that much. (It was normal shit and it all went according to plan, so yeah it didn’t suck. I DON’T KNOW. My judgment can betray me.) Thing is it’s just exhausting and I’m emotionally fucked right now so having cunts as partners who questions why I didn’t bother remind her of the list of things she’s suppose to bring doesn’t help. Plus, they keep on giving me nasty stares making their faces looked like they have shit camped under their noses!

Don’t give me that look, Fugly, im not your assistant.

I really should have said that. But I haven’t handed my resignation, which I plan to right after the event. I don’t want to leave in bad terms and I swear if I did that…

anyway, this convinces me that I could be turning bipolar. I swear I didn’t steal any… they were given by the hotel people.

When was the last time I put something here because im just plain happy and contented? probably ages ago. So now i just want to spill some of the happy memories I had these past few days. I dont want this to be a Harry Potter post cause there are no words to really explain how ecstatic the whole world is right now. However, I still think I ought to say that watching it in 3D is the SHIZZZZ!!!!!! I probably curse the day i went all the way and watch Avatar in 3D alone (cause it's my 1st time seeing a movie alone and nausea kicks in after 5 mins of it) but Harry Potter is just perfect in 3D. It's not as overwhelming as Avatar so as to inflict more damage to my industrially blind eyes. or maybe just maybe we got the best seats...

Also, after that we went to CCP (Cinemalaya Yo!) to watch Ligo na U, Lapit na Me (a novel turned film by our brilliant mentor Sir Eros Atalia) to our most misfortune the tickets are all ready sold out. Our 2nd choice, Babae sa Septik Tank is already in full house as well so we resorted to Bisperas which to my dismay caused me a huge amount of headache. Shaky camera treatment + hideous lighting IS NOT COOL. You can call it indie, I call it lack of knowledge in cinematography. Oh yeah before that unpleasantness, Julien got to interview Sir Eros for an article she's working on and it feels so good to see his work out there! Adie also had a chance to have her book autographed while I just stood there giggling like a stupid girl. Me doing nothing while two of my friends actually made themselves visible. In any case I'll ask julien for a copy of the article so I can post it here.

After that we went to Robinson's Ermita for some clarification regarding the new process of releasing NBI Clearance If you are planning to go to any of these malls be forewarned that they only accept limited people per day. (Robinson's Galleria accepts only 300 people and they start to line up as early as 7am and the actual process starts at 10am, while Robinson's Ermita accepts only 500 people, same thing as Galleria that starts at 10am but people starts to pile up as early as 7am) I still havent figured out how to do this since I have work. Good thing they decided to have it on weekends as well. Probably just camp out one these days in one of the malls, fastfood + chips + music, yeah that should get me by.

Plus, consciously being in the middle of Manila, plus Huling El Bimbo blasting inside the cab is gives you that warmth and a sense of belongingness. Started grinning like a fool and looked outside the cab imitating a sofia coppola film. (oh and i always say maria instead of sofia whenever i talk about her, my head is not right obviously) I havent felt that for some time. Im so in love with Manila right now.

Few months ago I stumbled upon this local online mag while looking for a summer playlist on tumblr and well since my friends and I were bit dreaming having one of our own I just decided to just follow them and look out for any project opportunity (cause my friends and i are just too lazy to function XD) Last month they asked people to submit portfolios and whatnot next thing i know im calling friends to do a 60's inspired photoshoot.

January

It was on the very 1^st month of the year that I lost my first job. The company closed down and left us nothing but hopes of getting better jobs right away. This however allows me to enroll on a photography workshop. More than just a fun experience I was also able to learn techniques and see the world in a different light. This is also the time when our dog, Yuki, bit me at the forehead.

This is the my favorite photo that i took during our class.

February

On February I had my second job, a PR/ Marketing stint for an events company. My dream job! Unfortunately, I only lasted for two weeks. Confused and emotionally exhausted I decided to quit it when another job offer came. It was fun while it last.

This was taken in a presidential suite during a photoshoot in that event stint. Sorry cant name the hotel. hahaha

I started as a Marketing Associate in an IT company.

We had our first company outing! It wasn’t that much but it was fun to be a part of something like this. I only see this on jdramas and now it sort of makes me feel like a grown up; preparing food, goofing around the pool, videokeing and stuff.

I also happened to interview Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional! All thanks to Marice Lupoy for dragging me to their presscon. I was an instant photog/ interviewer!

me + boy + hotel. It was I who initiated. For the people who know me this is rather shocking. Well I am surprised myself. Don’t you just love it when you do things you lazily imagine? I mean you think of things, thousand of things you wanted to do and you only do 1 out of 1000. And that 1 happens to be the safest, most convenient and most expected of you of society. So when you act differently, uncommon of your nature, that’s crossing boundaries right? Well this is only one time and nothing comes out of it, but it was fun!

WHERE DO I BEGIN? My October is filled with alcohol, night driving and new people whom I would like to be a part of me for the rest of my life. Those things a 16 year old does, I sort of did that. Im 23 WTF! Well im a very submissive girl in my early stage of life. My school is a few blocks away from our house so there is really no excuse for me to be not home 5-10 minutes after school. So now I wanted to try being a bitch. Some of you would say Im an idiot for defying my elders, some would roll their eyes for disbelief that im only doing this now. You see I have a very conservative, sarado-katoliko family (this is an understatement) And up til now when the sun goes down it is but a duty to be at home. There are exceptions though because they are (according to them) lenient in this day and age. I can be not home at night when I have school projects and for now when I have to do overtime at work. And men do I have my overtime. I am introvert alright but I like the company of few close friends. We don’t have to do a lot of things, just hang out, kill time, drink alcohol and coffee non-stop, and discuss the things that happened that day, the nasty and good ones, so on and so forth.

This is is also the month when I got my 1st airplane ride! HAHAHAHAHA Ang jologs ko! (So my family don’t like going out that much. They hate the rural, change, and things unknown aside from Manila stuff. WTF! Man do I belong.) My destination, Davao! Well it’s not so different from Manila, except from having superb fruits (God they are the sweetest! I love living in a tropical country and for having the best fruits in the world!) Anyways, when I got back to Manila I got the worst drunk-mode ever. I lost my phone coming to Manila, I got a bit emotional and yada.. I sort of cried, sang stupidly, scream non-stop along Espana, and throws up at some Starbucks. Thank you my cool friends for understanding. I woke up like nothing happened, (I haven’t got any hangover, ever!) went to a mall and then went home just like that.

Im a good girl for December and it wasn’t intentional. I did go home super late but that’s nothing compared to October and November. Anyways we are busy bees for the company Christmas party! I am actually thrilled that my suggested theme got picked, ChristMASK! So there goes the party. Our department did not win the talent show, but it was nice to see everyone putting their best in events like this.

Paskuhan was ok. It was just like the other Paskuhans. But what is awesome in this big UST Christmas Party are the people you may or may not see. It’s a surprise of some sort that excites you; if you will see this old friend or classmate or your most hated teacher. I love Paskuhan because I get to check out on boys! AHAHAHA I love pretty boys. (Hello Arashi!) and it saddens me that most the pretty boys in the corporate world are non existent. I have no idea why.

My holiday is usual. Cook here and there, hear mass and stuff. I had my vacation leave so I don’t have to go to work for 9 days! (THIS IS HEAVEN FOR A WORKING PERSON!) but it ended up being a sick leave since i have my colds and fever like a leech for days.

"If you are not good enough for someone, you are way good enough for Him." -- saw this on gia's fb and i realized how unfit i am for everything. Perhaps all of the neglected and/or shrug off disregard for my existence is finally creeping out of the pandora's box. I mean i dont really care before if im not good enough, but since im trying so damn hard to expose myself in to THE World that normal people live in im a little taken aback -- do i have a place here even? is this even worth trying? Guess im not a fan of taking risks and i dont really care if i dont, really. Its just that im expecting too much now and if there is nothing to expect, please universe, tell me now.
I just need some reassurance, a pat on the back or something to that effect. Dumadrama ako. nakakainis. But sometimes it sucks to play a game alone. I have a problem with myself lately and I seriously think that a part of me is slowly deteriorating. Time is eating away scraps of essence and stealing up all emotions I should be harvesting from dear journey called life. Im wasting myself drifting to non-sense worries and drowning in lousy excuses to continue this dumb-numb I have become. I hope to address this as soon as possible. A friend of mine is actually praying for me and a few people are showing support (wow thanks guys!)
Last night my former boss asked me how I was. I said I feel weird.
I think ive become a complete introvert, I told him.

I wanted to blame this to a certain guy. Excuses. I think this is all inside me waiting for me to be left alone and unnoticed, and then it slowly creeps out of me and sips through my skin. Now look, im covered with thick mud perfectly molded in my image confusing people, even me.

When a kid utters a word, believe it. And I will and will follow it even! Hahaha words of wisdom from the kid guru! Thanks Kid!

The pressure is on. Oh but I am not the type of person who gets pressured by anything or anybody. I end up shrugging off things that come my way. That’s how I roll. I don’t like this, I disregard it. I won’t let it get through me. That’s my way of life for the past 22 years. Now I am facing a different light more blinding and scaring. I am not going to turn my back this time. Wont shrug off and pressed my most pokerish face to the world.

Including my private ones i think it was almost a month. I havent really got anything to post up here and life-related stories kills fun, really.

Friday night i got a message from a friend that Arashi is rumored to release a new album. That wasnt confirmed till Saturday morning. Then thanks to vampyrrep's text messages i was able to learn every minute details. Noon came and Kiseki shop calls for anyone who wish to preorder. I was out at the mall but my brain is just swimming in

March 31, its been a year since we graduated and coincidence enough i rode the same jeep with Ecca! With the packed jeep we really careless with the noise we've been creating for like 20mins of the trip! Oh i miss them! We did plan for some clubbin (i know i dont like this one but ecca and jana are the pros and elli wants to) and she talked about the craziness of life and i been all-over-arashi-forever-not-living-a-rea

l-life stuff. Boylet talk and irritatingly stupid and immature they are in spite of the good looks! *ehem* jolo *ehem* well to summarize it all im so glad i met ecca again oh im going to ask her and the thesis group for a Palawan trip next year! (i know we are losers like that not able to go to palawan in a snap but do remember that we got responsibilities at home and with our family. plus we do have to seriously save up for this cause we got no big time parents to throw money at our feet) Oh i envy (for the 1st time) people going on vacation. Its holy week and im stuck with work at home... i got tons hahahaha! I told joanna about it she just replied, "@-@" i super wish for a better computer at the office that wont die at me every 10mins!

ive been wanting to do a lot of things lately. We ive been thinking about it for some time but i just need to make it happen. i cant just wait for it to happen so i decided to super work hard to pay for my needs...

Its Really Comingto its end

From Staff's Blog of Arashi No Shukudai Kun:

After nino asked the staff to be seen on the last ep of Shukudai they said, “Sorry that part we must edit!” I can’t do anything. Broadcasting has a limited time. But it’s fine. Because they can’t edit our wonderful memory.

And so i weep with the rest of the fans! It just dawned on me that this show really coming to its end. It is irreplaceable no matter what show NTV may produce next for Arashi. Probably because the guys spent their whole career with these people, they grow together and spent hours and hours of hard work just to entertain us! And now together with the show Arashi will have to end their working relationship with the staff! Does this also means that there's no Odoroki No Arashi?

Hands down to the staff of C No Arashi, D No Arashi, G No Arashi and of course their last master piece Arashi No Shukudai Kun!

The best things in life are free

FTIsland in Manila Concert Report

So I manage to grab some tickets (5 to be exact) for FTIsland for free. No, I’m not going to state here where I got the tickets unless you ask of course. I called in Joanna and Chen since they are the ones dying to have those. And so Joanna tagged her sister Jessa along and Chen called Sam to join us.

I arrived at PICC past 6 already, Sam was there and so we went inside to wait for the others because they are running late! LOL! They are super late! I heard there’s a raffle before it started but since the signal is fuck up inside the hall we stayed outside to wait for a call or txt from Chen or Joanna. They started around 7. Lee Hongki, (vocalist) wearing a stand out pink suit! I actually liked him of all the others but man the screams for Choi Jong Hun (guitarist/ Leader) had been the craziest. Whenever they focus him and put up his face on the screens the girls yell like there’s no tomorrow!

Since im not really a fan of FTIsland forgive that I know nothing about their songs. So I just yell, scream, howl just like everybody else cause that’s the only way of communicating in concerts really! Ahahaha! After a few songs Grace Lee comes upstage to introduce the boys and to be the translator as well. So they were asked the most cliché questions for the MC part like what can they say about the Philippines; answer is ‘Its too Hot’. I sort of pity them when they said this cause from Korea to the Philippines the weather is extremely different. If im not mistaken (im guessing Korea’s season is pretty much like Japan’s) winter is still up in Korea or nearing spring time while here summer is about to take place. I mean its not yet summer but thanks to El Niño the whole country is starting to dry up. And yes if we are having a hard time cooping up with the hot weather here what more for them! They were also asked what they can say about the girls here… they said, ‘girls are pretty.’ Super Cliché answer. Oh but the best question is what part of the girls are they most likely to see first, the vocalist and the guitarist said, ‘it’s the breast.’ That’s honest at least! Ahahahaha! Now that reminds me of Nino and Jun. For them it’s the butt more than the breast that attracts them!XD For Choi Min Hwan (Drumser) & Lee Jae Jin (bassist) I think it’s the eyes that got them. Then Song Seung Hyun (guitarist/rapper) said he wants sexy girls! LOL! I forgot the other questions. The MC is divided into two parts so I guess there’s like more questions, sorry I totally forgot. They sang around 10 songs and ended around 8:30! That’s really fast! Thank God I didn’t pay for those tickets. But its fun all in all! Just like Sam said it’s a stress-reliever for her to attend such. Oh and its been a year since the last time we were there in PICC. It was our graduation back then. Time flies so fast.

Before the concert while I was walking from CCP to PICC (don’t ask why) I could see Manila bay and the nice lights from the buildings and such at the harbor. The sky is purplish and dark, the orange tint of the sun is slowly fading. I wanted to take a picture of it to at least alleviate how I feel that time, but I got no camera cause I thought they’ll confiscate it, turns out they did not even look at our bags. When SSS stole my Birth Certificate

Ive been busy with my employment requirements ei. getting physical exams, nbi clearance ids and other stuff that requires one to endure
the extreme heat thanks to El Nino and let's not forget the inevitable bitchy government employees. I mean come on if you're looking for a cat fight or you want to sport a sweaty palm thats ready to blow a punch go to any government office and you are sure to have one. Ok forgive my stupidity but i just found out that nobody is suppose to oblige you to surrender your nso birth certificate,
which i did upon applying for a SSS id. And now that im getting back my nso birth certificate they said i couldnt get it back and they
have no idea about it. They want me to surrender another id replacing the stolen nso birth certificate and such so i said No and i want my birth certificate back instead. You pretty much know the ending... i left that shit SSS office empty-handed. I wanted to curse and scream i wanted to asked for help but there's no one to talk to. And i cant believe they stole my birth certificate for what effing reason?
Im not apply for a SSS id anymore, hell cares.

before the day ends

Im not a birthday person since God knows when... I really dont know the last time i celebrate it and i even blog last year that i dont like people greeting me...

The thing is i cant hide myself all the time. I used to be more comfortable allowing this day to be as ordinary as possible, (there is even a point where i turned off my phone) i keep it to myself and wished that nobody would try to look at any list that indicates this day. I dont know when i started being uncomfortable with this day (sometimes i wish i could just skip this day) maybe its just that im not used to people wishing me a happy one or i built this notion that they just greet me like a robot programed to walk and talk like humans, just a mechanical obligation or an impulse without meaning sort of a greeting.

i dont like people saying empty words. I used to have meaningful and wonderful birthdays when i was younger and you just have no idea how fun it is to have this day before, but bitchy life happens and the people i celebrate it with are gone leaving me with nothing but nonchalant greetings, empty ones. I dont care about the party i dont care about the celebration i just wanted and always hoped that people would greet me not just because i have a party or food to share but the fact that this is my birthday.

And today i felt for a very long time that people finally greeted me with more warmth and consciousness that yes this is in fact a very important day.

To everyone Thank You! For sticking with the self-rightous-frigid -me that knows nothing but my passion for my fandom! Ive been very selfish really and i just cant imagine anyone really caring what day is this for me. I dont care for the most part but since you do who am i to ignore your greetings!

This is going to be hard but i'll try my best to care more and get out of my comfort zones. I should fix my life right now, im not getting younger (but im young really... i feel young!) and should start investing with import things in life, relationships with everyone. I'll try not to be so distant and maybe i should lessen the area of my personal space, I'll try but i cant promise though. Ahahaha!

Guess what. In less than 7 hours another storm will hit the Philippines! How shit is that? Oh btw they say its stronger than hurricane Katrina! Ahahahaha… So much for being in the typhoon belt… Thank you! I feel that a lot people here got traumatize by Ondoy, im one of them. Well actually this starts way back the last time that I got stranded after watching The Half-blood Prince. I had a great time ogling at Daniel Radcliff the next thing I know im surrounded by water! The flood scares the hell out of me! I don’t know how to swim for God sake! It wont directly hit Manila but the tail of it will… They say that the moment it hit land an automatic category of signal #4 will be tag on it… and a lot more of shit forecast that even the Main forecast wished this aint real!

Its gloomy outside since yesterday, no rain, not yet. But the darkness and silence is really creeping me out. The wait is killing me, like you’ll never know what you’ll get! Well We don’t want any that’s for sure! My former blockmates are supposed to see each other tomorrow for our little donation drive for a few of our classmates, but I guess it has to wait. Let’s just wish no more people will be affected again.

Saving the earth could actually save us. Just so you know!

Yesterday I woke up pretty early to prepare myself for a lunch gathering. I was planning to finally pay the fee for the Arashi party when I realized it’s impossible to do so. It was raining damn hard and flood started to rise. Around 10 am I knew it was going to be hell. The flood rise up to the knee level, then after a few minutes it is waist-level. By noon my tita asked me to come down to help out in carrying the refrigerator, the water is entering the house. I looked out the window and saw people carrying bags and hugging each other tightly, hoping that the black water and crazy strong winds wont push them down to death. The water is chest-level. We carried all appliances to safety as well as my two dear dogs. Past 2, electricity left us. Then we starve because the last time we eat was in the morning. No food for us because the kitchen was slowly sinking in flood. By 5pm darkness took over. Im cold and starving. I looked outside saw a few more people trying to save their lives. We are lucky enough to have a house four feet elevated than the rest. Four feet and still the water entered our house. I slept, imagined Sho and our possible life together in Tokyo, how this calamity can be responded quickly in a first world country, but then again, earthquake is an inevitably strong protagonist in our love story. I woke up even more starve. Looked out and the rain gave no sign of stopping. The storm was giving its sadistic roar. It’s like laughing on mere mortals and chanting “Die, Die!”. The irony of loving a band named “Storm” ARASHI = STORM! By 6pm I could sense death. I know I’ve blogged this before about me sensing death. I could sense death by smell. But yesterday looking at the dark water I felt death. Cold air and the stillness, it is indeed death. I checked my phone and the signal died on me as well. It was crazy. It was still raining. I lied on my bed and sleep a few more minutes, woke up and sob a little. How long will this go on? My other tita called, she was outside and stranded on some fastfood. Oh how I told her early in the morning to just stay inside because the flood is sure to come. Well we needed money so who dares stopping her if she’s going to do a weekend tutoring. She was really worried that we haven’t eaten anything, plus no restroom cause the flood also entered there and no safe water to drink as well. 7pm I remembered our company president’s question on our last bible study. What if God tell’s you that you’ll die by 12 midnight. I checked my phone again, no signal, no way of saying goodbye to the people I know. I started sobbing. I know im lucky enough to be dry and safe at our second floor but my hunger and stupid humanity is taking over. Am I just going to die like this? How I realized that water is going to be the end of me. I don’t know how to swim! Its dark and cold, silence is killing me. What if I woke up and discovered myself floating? No way of transporting myself to the rooftop. Our window is made of steel bars and I wont be able to open it to safety. So I guess that’s it. I’ll just die like that. Ahahaha… I sob a few more, laugh at myself a little. I sense death, lurking around, trying to push a few more people to the dark water. Then here goes the cheesy part. I remembered Jesus and his apostles on a rainstorm. “Why the heck are you afraid? You are with me!” Of course that’s my modern version of Jesus rolling his eyes in disbelief. Like what the hell, you are with God! Duh! Then my sick yet consoled mind finally felt confidence and strength. I know I’ve been the third person, the witness, as death took my love ones twice but I forgot that a fourth person was also there. There was God!

After that little theatrical play inside my head I heard a sweeping sound. Water being swept away. The flood is gone inside our house. It was 8pm and I knew God has arrived! *Can I just send this to Nino’s Baystorm segment? I bet he’ll read this!*

8:30 pm we were able to cook and eat. Afterwards I was able to pee and shit!

By 10pm I received a few text messages. Im actually glad that people cares. I seriously thank you all.

The flood totally subside by 2:30pm in our area. I heard a lot of worse news. I lot of people are starving, cold and wet as I typed this down. A lot of them are trapped inside their houses still. Garbage is everywhere! People die.

If I die by 12 midnight there really is nothing that I could do but pray. Thank God for the short but happy and relax life, say sorry for the foolishness, hoped for a better day for those who would live. Basically that’s it. We’ll all die anyway but what is important is that we lived.

Because i cried in front of my favorite spaghetti

my tita left early around 7 in the morning, i on the other hand shoves her off as she gives me instructions on what to do for the day.
Teachers were ask to attend former President Cory's funeral. Of course its not required but being one of the millions who marched from Manila to Paranaque for Ninoy's funeral she felt the connection and duty as a Filipino to attend Cory's funeral as well. She was overwhelmed by the crowd and in spite her age (she's 60!) she believes this is but a little sacrifice and an act of gratitude she could offer our country.

around 10 am i started cooking spaghetti while my other tita watches the requiem mass. i satisfy myself with a radio on. I know its super unhygienic for me to cry and sniff over Kris's speech while cooking but i just cant helped it!

and the travel from manila cathedral to Manila Memorial took took 8-9hours all thanks to the huge crowd!
I know there are times that i asked why the hell am i living in such a third world country but after reliving how much pride Ninoy and Cory showed the world to be a Filipino I felt ashamed. It took them great courage and passion to fight for us yet we did nothing but continued to do whatelse, but nothing. Its easier to say that you love your country but showing it is a lot more different. They did both, proclaim their love, trust and hope for the Philippines as well as pray and fight for democracy.

It was something. Its more than something.

Oh how i love sid and nancy for their dirty and crazy act as a couple and perhaps due to the infamous lives they live.

But now i love Ninoy and Cory for together they were bonded by God to love and fight for this country. Thats more amazing and rare than smoking pots and trashing hotel rooms.

So rare and genuine they should be treasured forever!

Now this is a shit of a Love Letter... i cant help but cry!

My Dearest Cory,

In a few hours I shall be embarking on an uncertain fate, which may well be the end of a long struggle. I slept well last night for the first time since I left Boston — maybe because I’m just plain tired or I’m really at peace with myself. I want to tell you many things but time is running out and I do not have any machine. After a few more paragraphs, my penmanship will be illegible.

All the things I want to tell you may be capsulized in one line - - I love you! You’ve stood by me in my most trying moments and there were times I was very hard on you. But if anyone will ever understand me, it is you, and I know you will always find it in your heart to forgive — and unfair and ironic as it is — it is because of this thought and belief that I often took you for granted.

Early on I knew I was not meant to make money — so I won’t be able to leave anything to the children. I did what I thought I could do best, which is public service, and I hope our people in time will appreciate my sacrifices. This would be my legacy to the children. I may not bequeath them material wealth but I leave them a tradition which can be priceless.

I realize I’ve been very stingy with praise and appreciation for all your efforts — but though unsaid — you know that as far I’m concerned, you are the best. That’s why we’ve lasted this long. There will only be one thing in the world I will never accept — that you love me more than I love you — because my love for you though unarticulated will never be equaled.

If all goes well I should be back in my cell before sundown. Should I be detained do not rush to get home. Take your time and enjoy a side trip to Europe with the girls.

I’ll try to call you tonight if the authorities will allow me. Otherwise just remember me in your dreams.

Well good news really keeps me on track, like Toma and the possibility of being here and such. hay i need it cause i think what happened to me last Sunday sort of shook me... Well lets just say that i was not able to return home on time basically because of the over-the-waist flood in our area (i got home 2:30am and the flood is still above-the-knee even if the rain already stopped for 6hours!)

I know Sampaloc (the manila district where i live) is messed up like there's no way of not having floods every single rainy season! I mean we are used to that. But last Sunday it just dawned on me that i may probably be having problems going home more often since im working in Ortigas, unlike when i was still in school where it's just a stone's throw!
Hay now i feel uneasy even inside a bus and when i see dark clouds my heart starts to pound fast! Nerbyosa na ko!
i hate this... ive never felt fear like this before! I know theres no way its going to kill me but the thought of suffering and enduring nasty floods every now and then is driving me mad!

Oh how i miss my LJ and now that im having an outburst of emotion i guess i have to get back to my original lover! LOL! My Blogger.

Ok so I've been pretty much pampered by my fandom like forever and everytime im trying to get back to reality (the outside world of my world) i just end up defeated and arid out of bleeding. How Emo. Im actually glad that my f-list over at LJ wont be reading this. They'll be laughing like hyaenas with a mocking look on their face. But its all for fun so... but still.
well the thing is i dont want to get back to the outside world. ive been well-protected and i dont think ill survive, its my secret lair and no one should pull me out of it or else.

My reality is so much different from other people. while the world is mourning for their heartbreak and pain due to common-whatnots im here dumdfounded looking at them. Humans are a mistery. LOL. I sounded so alien-like forgive me. See the thing is their problems (their refers to common mortals, pretend that im not one of them) are surely common and i cant see the point why they have to make a big deal out of it and their reality seemed so far-fetch from mine.
See here that if i get back to their world (the outside world of my world) ill end up hmmm just like them, a bit crazier and worth of an eyeroll.

but im betting that much raising of an eyebrow has done as i unfold myself, that doest concern me what does is is that the soon reunion of mine and the dear outside world.

This one has been waiting for me like months right now... I finally watched it last Sunday so a thought of sharing some fabulous screencaps!!! so late... i decided not to post any grad pics before landing a job so now that i had my first week at work i think its about time to post some pics before i get busy... ahahahaha!!!:D

I've started to convert my officemates to my Arashi fandom and one of them started singing A.Ra.Shi. ahahahaha!!! Happy Fangirl!:D though im a bit exhausted from the travel im having everyday. Just imagine that i've spent 16 years in a school which is just a stone's throw from my house!
Oh and more and more of my classmates are planning to leave Manila, sad. I just cant imagine doing that now, perhaps a vacation... but the actual thought of leaving, even if its too tempting i just cant do that cause i have so many unsettled business here! I actually dont know where im heading. Sometimes it scares me to think that after having a job my world would somehow reduce to the things that old people would consider conveniently-relevant like having a family and a stable job! Oh of course people would say that its the main point of sending young people to school... but is it really just that? family and work is of course a must have, yet aside from that i wanted to have a time for myself (not that im not burning so much time for myself) explore what i really am and do stupid and adventurous stuff... i know its a bit selfish especially on my case (dont ask!) but i just wanted to become a person with no regrets and just having a family and a job would definitely NOT be enough. insatiable being.

OK i'll stop here before it gets a bit too messy... Anyways i guess i still havent really found what im looking for til then i just have to remain alive! ahahahaha!!!

This morning i got a text message asking if im still available for a job that i applied a month ago... I held my fone and looked at it like its the biggest joke on earth and dropped it on my bed. Im actually waiting for an answer from a research company that interviewed me this Monday but NO sir I got a text from the most unexpected people.

My aunts were here when i received the text but i decided to keep it to myself cause i still think its the biggest joke on earth. STILL.

it took me 3 hours to fully comprehend what just happened and maybe this is the one i was praying for last night (yeah im praying cause we need money badly cause guess what a family member is sick again! Great! Whats new?)... though different company. So took P20 off my wallet loaded my fone cause im so poor there is no way im using it if its not for emergency, and yes its an emergency this time. I replied that im still available as of the moment. She replied that she will text me again next week for the orientation and training and thats it.

So yes im happy that i landed a job and i could now erase myself form the unemployed list which is fastly growing by the minute. I have no reason to complain and such... i just wanted to help and be a NON-Burden for my family especially now. Its going to be tough i soooo feel it right now but i really must think positive here!

But does that mean i have to give up my fangirling??? NOOOO!!!! Ahahahahaha... Its my fucking life... Yeah Fangirling is my life hate it or not call me nuts and unreal... but thats just my life! Take it or leave it! Though im gonna be missing a lot of downloading stuff but whatever i can still manage... i think! Waaahhh just when i started to like a lot of man2man action, work is now here to take over that spare time for such inevitable ~~love~~fandom.

I havent posted a review for Bloody Monday, Honey & Clover live action, Voice and Love Shuffle... Plus im downloading Hana Dan and planning to have a marathon of it including the movie this time! I miss DomyoujiXMakino!!! I will never get over that pair! So yes im downloading a lot of stuff right now plus Adie is going to give me a copy of Zenttai Kareshi soon!!! OMG!!! My fandom!!!

i snap just like that... its the scariest thing that could happen to me... totally numb senseless and immovable. I got scared that it may not go away this time. Just right after a fight i got a call from a company and gave the person on the other line the sickest voice i could muster... im in no mood to talk to anybody... i clam up just like that! And people hate it! I guess thats the worst... when people scream at the top of their lungs proclaiming ones uselessness and then the people they scream at seems to be at a placid state! Totally ignoring them... i totally pissed them off, im really good at that. not aware of the damage they did to the person they are screaming at... they thought i'll be over it after a few hours... thats how i am to them... you scream and utter the worst words to me and it seems that i dont care a bit... yeah i dont care really ive been having that since what? birth... as long as you dont talk to me again... i dont mind losing another person anyway... and i bet they dont mind losing me... what a vicious cycle... ive been trap here just like this... immovable still... i dont feel anything anymore i wonder why i should go on like shit. I seriously need a job before this house drive me at my edge... i never let it happen to me. like you have to kill me first! But guess what ill do that before you do!

its been a controversial one... but seriously... its a God Damn drama... they just have to exaggerate the whole racism cause... well its a DRAMA!

i really dont mind... ive heard that racism is pretty much visible in some parts of Japan but im positive that they are not just the only ones doing this...

and lets be reminded that the whole theme of this show is to express hope and positivity in times of trouble... I am honored that somehow Filipinos were seen that way... LOL. maybe not. But rest asured that Filipinos are happy people! (go to slum areas and see those grinning kids wave at you as if they have seen a prenatural being about to grant them their wish to have a better life!)

Why so serious? Ive seen some threads on communities and they are pretty much tensed!

I really dont know... im not half this and half that... but 98% of Filipinos are not pure! Hello??? We've been colonized by Spaniards for 300 years! Then a few years with Japanese and Americans... And tons of Chinese migrated here during those days....

So thats basically the reason why we really dont mind being half of this and half of that!
and Its the 21st century... please dont believe everything you see on TV!

with that i actually love "Smile"... its a lot deeper than I thought so im happy about it!

My Our dear Neener played Kurosawa Hideo, a 22 yrs old with cerebral palsy whose goal is to become just like his father, a great car salesman! then the rest are his adventures as a salesman that actually prepares him to be an independent person...

Ninomiya is officially my favorite drama actor... and even if he still denies and corrects people with the fact that he is not an actor but an idol ("i sing and dance with a group" - nino in an interview for "letters from iwo jima")he still is indeed born to give the audience a full taste of his character in every drama he is in!

He got another Drama Sp "Tengoku de Kimi ni Aetara"... with Inoue Mao! OMG! Another tear jerker! But lol that he and mao will play as a married couple with twins! thats like a couple, age 15, with kids!!!

It’s late and im such a lousy sister… ahaha!!! Thanks to holy week I’m not allowed to use the internet! Happy Birthday to the smexiest JE boy ever!!! Can I just express my love for his smile? WAaaaaaaaAAAA… I wish he got more reason to smile this year! The boy got issues these past few days… thanks to his Nikki and to the 5-6 subbers of it I was able to know his whereabouts… not that it could affect me! But I just wish for his peace of mind!

A few days ago I finally got a glimpsed at the Nobuta wo Produce commercial over at GMA7! So they are sure airing it… im just not sure if that’s a good idea since the station is known for non-quality dubbing and constant cutting of important scenes!!! I really doubt the presentation… BOOO!!! Why cant they just leave Jdramas alone if they continue showing bastardized versions??? Stop editing the whole thing damn it! This is not a Taiwanese or Korean drama where you can just take away like 20 mins of the show because they got 20+ episode per season! I remember my friend telling me that when they aired Gokusen 2 the station tried to fit in 3 episodes in 1hour!!! Horrible Horrible Horrible!!! Whatever… now I feel like watching Nobuta all over again… *sigh* the drama that sure changes my life is coming to the Philippines just so a lousy TV station can butcher it!

The story revolves around a 17yrs old Shuuichi Kushimori who is pretty much got a twisted mind, in a rebellious age that's why, and who plans on killing his step-father...

I seriously love the story since it clearly showed the right emotion and mood of a 17 yr old. Of course not all experience the same. But well I've been in this phase, felt that same blue feeling and thought of morbid acts. Twisted well yes this is the exact feeling of a fucked up teenager. Only that one choose to just bury their self rather than hurt anybody and the others well they resulted in making their dark thoughts into reality, just like what Shuuichi did.

But Shuuichi got imagination unlike the rest of us... so he got away with his first murder, almost. I seriously just cant imagine killing anybody but the anger and determination to get rid of the person is just to strong and pure you just want him to get away! The boy needs hug, I want to give him that all through out the movie.

The movie got an indie feel to it... but i love the cinematography and as i've watch 'The-making-of-Blue Light' its either they just used such texture, or even in a low budget movie Japan really engage in such intricate process almost the same as a regular hollywoodish type of movie. I dont really know I havent been in a movie shoot... Oh and i like how the camera moves around Shuuichi's garage/room... the elements: his aquarium, where he curls up when he's feeling blue... The lights in his room, the hunged spare parts of his road racer, everything is just perfect!

Mr. Ninomiya is destined to be a dramatic actor! After that he can bitch around when he is with Arashi!

i dont know if im still on hiatus... guess not! But i'll definetely give my best for these last three months in school! (this is so JE!) After seeing our Instructional Video i finally come to realize that its going to be our final blow! We may be cramming like hell but i'll still see to it that our docu and short film be the most memorable project for our last semester... im so gonna miss this!

Another thing... during our desktop publishing class i realized two things...

1. that im so damn busy fangirling (not doing computer task) that i totally block the outside world from interupting me.
...so when i asked sir about our featured article (i was a bit annoyed that our teacher decided to return our paper without checking... im not confident with my work so help would be greatly appreciated) and had a good look at his face for the first time... (i told you im busy fangirling)
2. i realized that he is actually good looking! Three months and im not even looking at my teacher's face! LOL!

Divine and i talk over the phone and she said something like.. "you make me happy..." and i said "What the hell am i? Arashi?" (she is actually clueless about the existence of Arashi)
then she texted just a few minutes after our talk saying "jenn, you are my Arashi!"
OK but that actually made my day!

Ano nang gagawin starting January 5?

Well I ready don’t know what am I gonna do with this year! People around me are mostly concerned with the job I’ll be having after graduation… “What job will you take?” SH*T! Im sorry but I have nothing in mind… im such a scattered brain! And imagine me being such in a crucial time of my life! One thing is for sure I’ll have a decent job as soon as possible… I am in no position to be picky since I’ll be the breadwinner after three months plus all of our money was basically swindled! Add to that the fact that most ofmy family members are taking medications… I wouldn’t be surprised if I’ll die young really! Having that in mind (that life is damn short) I’ll never the less have fun this year! I really don’t know what fun is anymore actually but since I can’t just die without it I’ll just do whatever I think would be fun! One would be going to see Arashi’s 10^th Anniversary Concert… if I have to work 24hrs a day I would just to have enough money for this. Besides, I would really feel that I could conquer all if I’ll be able to do this…. It may not be a big thing for some (for the blessed rich) but since I really don’t have the money and it would require me to do my outmost best to earn for my family… and my whims would be the last thing that I really should think, right?.. well that makes it more difficult! Seriously, it is hard to be poor since birth! Oh well let’s see if I can get to see Arashi… bring it on!

So much for that… what happened to our thesis? Seniors are pretty busy this holiday except for us! We are not doing anything! Miracle… we must bring that on when classes resume. I did the full blown script then what? LOL!

I was going to write something really churlish such as "Iv'e learned that I'm a slave of a tyrant." But when I looked up and saw him standing there with the switch in the hand, I change my mind.

For all the love of the night creatures i think Armand surpasses all beauty and grace a vampire must possess making his story a bit more delicate yet loved by all readers! If vampires are made to mock God with its beauty then i think Anne Rice was able to vividly instill to us that Armand does have all the right to be a vampire!

I truly and will forever be in love with Lestat but Armand would be that eternally 17 year old lad that would just make you want to touch him and comfort him for all the harsh life a 500 year old vampire could have.

He was abducted from Russia by some bandits during 15thcentury taking him to Venice to be sold as a slave but his beauty was of course turned on hundreds of men wanting him for their lewd pleasure so there was rape for obvious reasons. Not until he met Marius de Romanus, one of the strongest and oldest vampire, who fell in love with him and saved him. He was earnestly taught by Marius along side the other young boys that were to be brought up as the best civilians of Venice! (Ok this reminds me of Johnny and his Boys! LOL!)

His boutticelli angel look was mainly the cause of trouble and hurt amongst the people around him... like the Englishman whom he make love with that ends up their relationship by going amok and killing two young boys in their mansion in Venice!

But you know what really got me is his questioning nature! Not that he doesnt believe but his wittiness and willingless to broaden his views and curiousity is really something... well he is just making a fuss out of everything actually... just like a child that he is!

and yes! The book is filled with smut, yaoi, vampire to human love, may-december romance, teacher-student love affair, orgy... makes it all worth reading... allow them to have a piece of happiness once in a while shall we?

Another thing that i love in Rice's vampires are their love for humans and their complexities that results in their loneliness... Just imagine you're a vampire, only one of the few, and was bound to live for all eternity... it might be cool for some aspect especially for those that come to love Twilight but seriously living with just your own kind and keeping a secret for hundreds of years how could that be possibly fun? And making a food out of the people you love? Seriously!

Vampires here are emotional! Believe me they are the only ones who got all the right to be! They cry, cry and cry with blood and then they pity themselves and then after that... move on to their next meal... or should i say adventure?! Now you asked how could a series of books be fun with all of these?! Well it is the irony! The main focus of the series would be the humanity of the Monsters of the night! How they get scared, how they love, how they get angry all of these makes these series more and more interesting i guess! It brings you to the very root of the vampires... how they think in certain situations and how could they possibly live just like any ordinary beings.

i've underestimate this drama special... i thought i'll be laughing damn hard on Nino playing an autistic (its no laughing matter, but its Nino being himself... so yeah thats a bit funny!) it turns out that i totally wailed! Its only one scene but i just cant help but cry a bit more now that im remembering it! Its too much... Waaaaa... its so inspiring... its like Jun's "Myo no anyo papa ni ageru" only that Nino ant think for himself and still decided to go on a marathon even if his mom told him not to do so!!!

And just 2 years ago my dear prof (thank God people like her still exists) explained that the San Carlos University was not what they claimed to be... the university today is wholly different than the first institution that was constructed on the same site, so it cant really be the oldest!

I cant imagine what other lies are there in every textbook!

Drama Review: Taiyo no Uta (Song of the Sun)

I am actually torn… I don’t know weather to smile due to excessive “kilig”, cry or just ogle at Takayuki Yamada!
BTW erika sawagiri looks like Jolina Magdangal morphed into Roxanne Barcelo! LOL!

Kaoru has XP (it’s a disease wherein the person has no tolerance over UV rays, plus, they die not past 20) yet she is determined to do her best to fulfill her dreams as a singer! Well she sort of did, with the help of Kouji’s guitar and love (Awww… sweet!) Damn it’s a love story so watch it! Joanna’s cup of tea I bet! And mine as well… it’s an unusual disease anyways, not the cliché cancer, tumor, leukemia or memory loss, plus Kaoru is definitely not one of those I-am-so-fragile-I-might-die-any-moment character! The girl knows what she wants and there is no stopping her!

I am looking forward to seeing the movie as well… No Takayuki… (they change the casts) but hotness, Takashi is there! Cant wait!

Drama Review: Kizarasu Cat's Eye

Having a cancer patient protagonist in a story would probably give you an impression that it’s one of those teary-jecky- familiar-plot… Well tell you what, Kizarasu Cat’s Eye is pure comedy!

It’s my second encounter with Junichi Okada(1^st was in Tokyo Tower with Jun Matsumoto! Let’s not forget his butt exposure in there!!!) And what can I say I’ve come to love him here… *starts to consider adding him on my S-List!*

Bussan (junichi) has a year to spare after he was diagnosed with Cancer. So he and his friends decided to make the most out of it! How? By forming the Kizarasu Cat’s Eye. Originally, they are known as Cat’s Eye (their baseball team) but honoring their place, Kizarasu, i think it wasnt that bad. Being mischievous and reckless they’ve come to do the craziest unthinkable things… anything for Kizarasu I guess. Anything that pops out of their “baka” minds! I haven’t mentioned that Sho’s here… he is so kawaii!!! Just like his character, Bambi, he was still in college when he filmed this. Yes, I do recommend this! It’s totally fun especially the Uchi’s unbelievable adventures with matching amazing flashbacks… then the forgotten name of “Hotness”(Takashi Tsukamoto) they just called him Ani, (we started calling him hotness after watching Battle Royal!) Apparently no one knows his name even Bussan… they sort of forgot! And Sho’s winning as Mr. Kizarasu and journey through devirginization (if there is such a word, I doubt!) Laugh-trip, indeed!

Im looking forward to seeing the movie… must download now.

*for some reason i find Shun Orugi's skin extremely white... more like his Sony Ericson CM!

The SP, a hidden episode after Sano prevents Ashiya from leaving Japan, explores the time were Sano first realized his feelings for Ashiya due to the indirect kiss; it’s actually a mouth to mouth resuscitation.

Then the latter part would be the graduation of the 3 dorm leaders and the leader of Hibari4. For the love of “boy2boy-love” the kissing scene of Nanba Senpai with *toot*

and the love confession of one of the boys to Sano should not be missed!!!

Youth

So i decided to end my 20th breathing years with Nobuta wo Produce! I remember how much this drama changed me the first time i saw it... (i wasnt into Yamapi's body, not until i saw his AnAn pics, a was a bit wholesome back then...) i've said it before and i'll say it again... everybody should watch it, take it seriously and reflect on every single scene!
Our life is one big messy high school experience that everybody should put up with, but if you have real friends that believe, listen and make you change yourself for the better... then life wouldnt be that traumatic!

I was a bit down these past few days... i think its everytime my birthday comes up and i've been like this since God knows when... i really want to forget my birthday actually, it's easier now that its on a sembreak so nobody brings it up. (i even remember a time when i have to close my fone just to not have a birthday message! How anti-social of me!) I really cant remember the last time i celebrated it and everytime people greeted me i really dont know what to reply or to react, it kinda feel ackward. Then i saw the scene where Shuji tries to hide his birthday... i think understand. I really dont see the importance of a birthday (I actually feel weird saying this...) i remember having a party when i was younger, grade school i think... the traditional parties at home... spaghetti, chicken lollipop, super-red mini hotdogs on sticks, cakes that only the flower decors i eat, party hats... But no matter how much i look back i cant remember the people in my party anymore, except for my family of course. The thing is i dont know them and probably they dont know me anymore... If im going to have a party i wanted it with people i know trust and care about vice versa... again i doubt if they still know me!
But seriously, I think the most important would be the day when you finally made a marked into this world. Ok enough of that!
